Returns, Exchanges & Refunds


At Orchid & Pine, every order is made with care. If something isn't right, we're here to make it so. Please review our policy below — it varies by product type.

Eligible Items — Standard Products

The following products may be returned within 30 days of delivery provided they meet all conditions:

  • Bouquet greeting cards
  • Vivid Press Paper (silica-infused, B5)
  • Botanical press
  • Botanical tattoos
  • Art prints

To be eligible, items must be:

  • Unused, unworn, and unaltered — in the exact condition received
  • In original packaging, including any protective sleeves or tissue
  • Accompanied by your order confirmation email or receipt

 


Earth Vessels — Special Handling

Earth vessels contain preserved botanical and floral arrangements. Due to their nature as preserved organic goods, they are not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or defective.

If your earth vessel arrives damaged in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or issue a refund.

 


Custom & Commission Orders

Custom commissions — including floral portraits and botanical name frames — are created uniquely for each client and are non-refundable and non-returnable once production has begun.

Before we begin, we'll share a digital proof for your approval. Once you approve and production proceeds, we're unable to accommodate cancellations or changes. We encourage you to review your order details carefully before approving.

If your commission arrives damaged in transit, please contact us within 48 hours with photos and your order number, and we will work to make it right.

 


In-Person & Online Courses

In-person workshops:

  • Full refund if cancelled 7 or more days before the event
  • 50% refund if cancelled 3–6 days before the event
  • No refund within 72 hours of the event; however, your spot may be transferred to another attendee

Online course (launching 2027):

  • Non-refundable once course access has been granted
  • If you experience a technical issue preventing access, contact us within 7 days of purchase and we'll resolve it

 


Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival. If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. The sooner we hear from you, the faster we can make it right.

Depending on the situation, we'll offer a replacement, store credit, or full refund.

 


How to Start a Return

  1. Email us at hello@orchidandpine.com with your order number, the item(s) you'd like to return, and your reason for returning.
  2. We'll respond within 2 business days. Approved returns will include a prepaid return shipping label and packing instructions.
  3. Repack securely in original packaging and drop off within 7 days of receiving your label.
  4. We'll notify you within 2 business days of receiving and inspecting your return.

Please note: Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted and cannot be refunded.

 


Exchanges

We don't offer direct exchanges. The quickest path to getting what you'd like is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately. If the item you want is out of stock at the time of your return, we're happy to issue store credit instead.

 


Refunds

Once your return is received and approved:

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days
  • Your bank may take an additional 3–5 business days to post the credit
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

If 10 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you haven't seen it, please contact us at hello@orchidandpine.com and we'll investigate right away.

 


Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances (except where damaged or defective on arrival):

  • Earth vessels (eligible only if damaged/defective on arrival)
  • Custom commissions (floral portraits, botanical name frames)
  • Sale items
  • Gift cards
  • Online course access (once granted)
