Meet Your Guide
Honestly, I’ve been a wildflower archivist since I was a kid.
My sketchbooks and journals have always been a sanctuary—a place to dream, sketch and write about what lights me up. Growing up I would tuck away petals from my grandmother’s garden and the fields surrounding my home in California.
Years later, those pressed flowers are more than just dried plants; they’re a map of my life. They remind me of sun-drenched hikes with friends on wild California land and quiet moments of sef discovery.
My obsession really took root 18 years ago when my (now) husband gave me the first bouquet of roses. I couldn't let that feeling fade. Every bouquet since then became a challenge: How do I keep this beauty forever?
That "full-blown obsession" turned into Orchid & Pine, where I now get to share the soulful art of preservation with you. Whether you’re building your first press or you've been buying out and trying a few from the market, I’m here to help you turn your garden-fresh finds into beautiful preserved blooms.
