“If you’re looking for that one person who will change your life, look in the mirror.”

This quote hung inside my yoga shala for years. At first, it sounded harsh, but over time, I’ve come to appreciate this version of tough love.

Imagine actually getting the things done that you want to achieve. Imagine building the dream life you long for, or stepping into the role you once thought impossible. Imagine letting go of all of the excuses and that voice that says in your head “no, I’m not good enough, there’s no way I’ll be able to do that.”

Imagine having tools—simple, tangible tools—that support you in making that shift.

For the past twenty years, I’ve been doing just that—though I didn’t know it at the time.

If you're tired of doing the same things on repeat and are ready to make a change, keep on reading and dive in.

My Story

Before we get really deep into it, here's a little about me. My journey to Orchid & Pine—our flower studio and tiny farm—was not linear.

In my early twenties, I was a fashion designer running my own label right out of design school. I sold my line to over 200 stores by the time I was 24. However, in my late twenties, my personal life took an unexpected turn, and I closed my design label and shop.

I found my way to a steady 9–5 to keep the bills paid, but creativity found me again, this time through sharing and teaching yoga.

In retrospect, each piece of my journey was like a different flower seed. Slowly, these experiences carried me back to my roots—toward creativity, toward nature, toward living a life connected to the land.

But alongside this growth, I lived with extreme anxiety. I healed from PTSD. And I wrestled with trichotillomania—a condition that shows up as compulsive hair-pulling or skin-picking. It’s a private cycle, one that often carries shame, and one that takes courage to talk about.

Where Tiny Intentions Was Born

During my yoga years, I leaned deeply into herbal medicine. Later, as I worked with flowers in our studio and in the field, something clicked.

What if there was a tool that allowed us to see and wear our intention—something as beautiful and ephemeral as flowers themselves? What if it could draw on the old language of plants, where each bloom carries a meaning, and weave it into modern life?

That’s how Tiny Intentions Ink was born.

These are temporary tattoos—but they’re more than decoration. They are reminders.

Flower sigils you choose for yourself, to hold your intention close.

Some people wear their floral tattoos boldly, like a declaration. Others keep them subtle, tucked in a place only they can see.

For me, when I was in the hardest moments with Trich, I wore a small symbol that only I knew the meaning of. I was so ashamed by my behavior of pulling my hair that I didn't want anyone to see my reminder to stop pulling. That's the power of a floral sigil tattoo, only you know what it means to you.

My symbol became my anchor, a quiet signal to pause, to breathe, to resist the urge.

That private power—that secret language of resilience—is what we now offer through these tattoos.

Why Temporary Tattoos?

Flowers fade. Habits shift. Life moves in cycles.

That’s why these tattoos are temporary—designed to evolve with you.

  • A gentle interruption: Placed where your hands normally go, they create a pause in the cycle.

  • An anchor of meaning: A word, a symbol, or a flower tied to your personal story.

  • A choice of expression: Boldly visible or quietly hidden, depending on what you need.

  • Freedom to grow: As your intentions change, so can your tattoo.

From the Garden to You

At Orchid & Pine, everything we create is about more than beauty. Each arrangement, each bloom, each tattoo carries an intention—to bring more joy, more grounding, and more connection into your life.

Tiny Intentions is another way we’re planting those seeds. A way to remember that even when you feel stuck, the smallest step—the tiniest reminder—can shift your whole world.

An Invitation

If you’ve ever looked for a tool to help you feel more present, more resilient, or more aligned with the life you’re dreaming of, Tiny Intentions might be that seed for you.

Wear it. Live it. Let it remind you of the life you’re creating. Embody the life you love here.
